WHAT IS FIRST® LEGO® LEAGUE – Future Edition

FIRST® LEGO® League – Future Edition is a new hands-on STEM experience for students in grades K–8 that combines teamwork, engineering, coding, and creative problem-solving using the LEGO® Education Computer Science & AI platform. Teams build and code wireless hardware and work together to complete missions in a new interactive, alliance-based game, while developing skills in computational thinking, collaboration, and engineering.

During the 2026–2027 BIOGLOW™ season, all Future Edition teams explore biodiversity and the relationship between people and the natural world. Grades K–2 participate through an age-appropriate experience designed to build curiosity and foundational STEM skills, while grades 3–8 take their learning further through a Project, exploring biodiversity and developing ideas and solutions connected to the season theme.
